HAPPY RECORD STORE DAY 2025 !

UPDATE !! IN-STORE RSD SALE IS EXTENDED TO SUN 13 APRIL

Remarkably, SAT 12 APRIL 2025 is RELICS' 12TH RECORD STORE DAY celebration!

Supporting local is an ethic that is dear to our hearts, and we want to thank you, our music-and-arts community for continuing to visit us in-store, and for helping us keep the lights on and our staff happy at Relics!

In this day-and-age, we know it's easy to browse online and to forget about brick-and-mortar stores. We also know it's the in-person connections that make life and music and art so much more special, and way more fun !!

For Relics crew, it's the joy of sharing music that keeps us doing what we do... on top of that we 💛 love 💛 NZ bands, Dunedin bands, and we love Aotearoa / Ōtepoti made amps, speakers & turntables (check out Tex Tone, Wand, Plinius, Perreaux). Theres a lot of passion in this little wee country for great sound !! And as long as Relics is here, we will continue to champion our local champions!

It's nice to say every day is Record Store Day, though how often do we actually stop and think about who our community is? RSD gives us the opportunity to take a moment, to be together, and to celebrate community, our champions, and the great sounds we love !!
