It's our birthday!!

Well it's hard to believe 2 years have flown by already!

So, there's heaps of things going on this month - and the live music scene in Dunedin is hotting up for summer - so here's a few of our calendar events to keep in mind for November ...

Who said you can't have 2 black fridays in one month ?!

We have heaps of special releases coming in for this ' excuse for a shop after Thanksgiving - the holiday we don't celebrate in NZ ' day.

In case you don't know... the day after Thanksgiving Day (the last Thursday of Nov) is a massive sale and shopping day in the United States. It is otherwise known as 'Black Friday' and a bunch of vinyl is specially released on this day.

We have ordered some. We have not ordered all. If you want to know if we have got it - feel free to give us a buzz or come in and visit.

It is Thorne’s through-composed actualisation of identity, a journey that goes deep, is sometimes dark, offering moodiness and a brooding beauty...

I’ve said many times before in reviewing Maori language albums that I’m lost when it comes to a translation but lost in the sound of it, swept up and moved by the beauty of the language; translation – ultimately – is irrelevant.
